The LightHouse Keepers Lunch

How quickly this Autumn term has gone already and we are now well into our second term of the year! The children have been learning the story of The Lighthouse Keepers lunch and have been busy writing their own versions based around the character of Mr Grinlin trying to save his lunch from some pesky animals! we have based lots of our learning around this story, including lots of DT work such as making baskets, planning and making a delicious lunch as well as a super DT day where we made our very own Lighthouses. The children worked very hard during this day, painting, assembling their own circuits and lots of moasic work.

"I'm going to sleep really well after today" said Mabel.

" I am really proud of myself," Henry.

Our chair of Govenors, Brian Williams, spent the day working alongside the children and supporting them with their electrical work.
