School in top 3% nationally

We are thrilled to report that for the fifth year running, the school has been recognised as helping children make excellent progress.

Schools Minister Nick Gibb wrote to congratulate Mrs McCalmont, the staff and pupils following last year's Key Stage 2 assessments. These show that in reading, writing and mathematics, children are making 'a very high level of progress' between KS1 and the end of primary school. This puts Stone with Woodford among the top 3% of primary schools in the country.
